The Echo of Economy

Kenny Mokuolu / February 5, 2026

Matthew 6: 19-21

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves  treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

A man cannot work in one country while his paycheck is sent to another, except he has an account there, so also, it is not possible for us work on earth while simultaneously building treasures, dividends, and investments in heaven except we have an account there.

To say that work in one world translates into wealth in another is to underscore the fact that there is a connection between both worlds. In this manner there exist trade relations between both

The Paradox of Pain

Kenny Mokuolu / February 5, 2026

Pain; that agonizing and uncomfortable feeling you get when something is interrupted or out of place. Like your arm twisted behind your back, like the feeling of a clear paper cut on a delicate finger, or punch straight to the face. Worse still, the emotional and mental pain of loss or a broken relationship. That is hard very hard.

How about the pains that seem to go on forever, like, dealing with a chronic sickness, a family member addicted to drugs, a runaway daughter or sibling, or a family torn apart.  None of these in themselves are good.

We all agree pain hurts, it throbs the heart with displeasure, yet if we listen to it, it just might tell us what needs to be put right. It may reveal what we’re doing wrong, and give us a

Believing; An Exposition on Mark 11:24

Kenny Mokuolu / February 5, 2026

As human beings the word ‘believe’ is at the center of our lives and everyday experience, and our acceptance of certain things to be true or false determines our action. For believers in Christ, living our faith in the face of difficult life issues can be sometimes challenging. However, we are encouraged by the Lord Himself on the importance of activating our belief in order to have our needs met and live fulfilling lives. Let’s examine Mark 11:24;

Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

The Lord instructs us that when we BELIEVE, we have what we seek, meaning, it is placed in our hands. We will realize in time that we truly do have them, but we must activate our

Creditors and debtors

February 5, 2026

Our lives and interactions are transactions in value, and we are by nature givers (creditors), takers, and offenders (debtors).

In Matthew 6:12, Jesus, while teaching on prayer said; ‘Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.’ Here, Jesus identifies forgiveness as something of value like money. Something that can be exchanged or traded, given or withheld.

The Lord encourages us to ask the father to forgive our debts - our offenses to Him. Then, indicating debt owed to one another, he uses the same analogy, He says ‘as we forgive our debtors,’ showing that we also should forgive that which is owed to us.

Therefore, IF WE OWE one another forgiveness, that must mean that there exist a spiritual law in which we were ORIGINALLY REQUIRED to extend good
